Reports reaching the Ogaden Online service desk confirm a recent killing spree carried out by a high ranking Tigrian People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) officer. Reliable sources who are closer to the Woyane militias indicated that the officer who went on the rampage was the deputy of the Woyane militias in Cobosha. The officer is said to be a colonel named Ajara Ajara. He is also said to have survived the recent ONLA commando attacks in the area.
Multiple sources reported that this officer was the sole survivor of the recent ONLA commando attack in the area. It is also reported that upon him reaching the town of Fiiq, he was summoned to a Woyane militia officers’ meeting. Sources who were present in the meeting indicated that about 60 officers took part in the meeting. In the meeting, colonel Ajara was accused of being a coward which, according to two independent sources, infuriated colonel Ajara. He is said to have known the fate of an officer accused of cowardice.
Upon listening attentively to the accusations, it is reported that colonel Ajara took out a hand grenade and threw it in the direction of the senior officers who were leading the meeting. It is reported that 9 officers died on the spot, while up to 38 officers are said to have been gravely injured. It is also reported that colonel Ajara committed suicide in the meeting hall.
